Log Admin Fin Coordinator

Context :
End of June 2016, Tdh launched an integrated emergency WaSH, Child Protection and NFI response, following several waves of IDPs resulting from military operations to free Shirgat districts, as well as the South Mossul Corridor. Tdh is currently operating in Tikrit, Baiji and Tooz districts. Tdh is also operating in Kirkuk governorate via Cash grant and Child protection assistance.
Conditions:
Swiss salaried contract 3’100 CHF < > 4'300 CHF net /month according to experience x 13 times, Vacancy: 25 days annual leaves local accommodation and transportation, Health insurance, accident and medical repatriation insurance, return flight.
Main responsibilities :
The Administrative and Log Coordinator is responsible for the sound financial, accounting and budgetary management of the mission as well as for the management of the human resources, and the administrative and legal files. He/she is also responsible for the proper functioning of the logistics in order to make available the necessary means for the running of the programs, and participates actively in the security management of the mission.
Fonction details :
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOG COORDINATOR
The Administrative and Log Coordinator will be under the responsibility and the line management of the Head of Base/Tikrit. He/she will have the following main responsibilities:
· Financial, Budgetary and Accounting Management: he/she is responsible for all the aspects related to finances, including budgetary and accounting items, as well as for the cash/treasury of the mission.
· Human Resources Management: he/she is responsible for the administrative management of the national and international teams, the definition / update of the procedures and the HR management tools.
· Administrative and legal management: he/she oversees administrative records and ensures that the status and functioning of the mission are in legal compliance with the requirements of the country of intervention.
· Security: he/she assists the Head of Mission in the safety management.
· Supply: he/she coordinates the supplies and deliveries for the projects. He/she ensures compliance with the procedures and logistical tools.
· Fleet: He/she is responsible for the management of the vehicle fleet (availability, security, maintenance, etc.) for the proper functioning of the mission and the conduct of the activities in accordance with the available budgets.
· Representation: He/she represents Tdh before partners, authorities and various local actors involved in the logistics and security mission.
· Coordination: He/she centralizes and disseminates logistics information within the mission and to the headquarters, and consolidates internal and external reporting on that matter.

The post holder complies with the Child Safeguarding Policy, Safety Policy and Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy.
S/he reports any breach observed in the framework of this policy during his/her professional activities both as regards the proven or suspected offence and a preventive breach.
POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
· Under the hierarchical supervision of: Head of Base Tikrit
· Under the technical supervision of: Finance and Admin Coordinator/ Irbil
· Technical support to : WASH PM
Profile :
· Education: accounting/finance management
· Knowledge of project and HR management is an asset
· Excellent command of Pack Office
· Knowledge of the SAGA software is an asset
· At least 2 years' experience in an humanitarian and/or international context
· English is mandatory (oral and written)
· Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
· Ability to work under high pressure and without constant supervision
· Good organisational skills, co-ordination and transfer of knowledge
· Excellent communication skills and a commitment to team work
· Ability to work in a tense context with strict measures
· Knowledge of the Iraq and/or Syrian context would be a distinct advantage
Child protection policy:
